Classic Homemade French Crêpes

Basic French crêpes that can be served with sweet or savory fillings. This crêpe recipe is easy and fun to make!

- 1 & 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract Madagascar vanilla extract works well
- 1 tsp white granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 2 cups milk
Combine all ingredients into a bowl or mixer with a whisk attachment.
Mix all ingredients until smooth.
Butter your frying pan (non-stick preferred).
Pour one scoop of crepe batter into the pad using a ladle.
Tilt your pan around to spread the batter evenly. The result should be thin enough to flip but not so thin it breaks apart.
Cook until each side has small brown dots.
Flip your crepe out of the pan and top with your favorite toppings!
