We love homemade crêpes in this house. They make for a great base to both sweet and savory dishes.

I remember first learning to make crêpes in middle school French class. One year my classmate brought a crêpe maker to speed up the process, but it didn’t work too well. The crêpes were too thin and fell apart. For this recipe you don’t need anything fancy schmancy. A nonstick pan will do just as well, if not better.

I’ve definitely leveled up my French crêpes since middle school. These crêpes are soft, smooth, and buttery. They will roll perfectly and hold their formation. Crêpes can be very easy to make and with this recipe you’ll whip them up with ease. I literally throw all my ingredients into a Kitchen Aid with a whisk attachment, then mix until smooth. You can watch me do this here on my Instagram reel.

You will have to let me know what you end up filling your crepe with in the comment box below!
